My son lives in army barracks he wants a laptop to mainly play games on.He has £500 to spend any suggestions I don't know where to start.

Not that im much of an expert, but have learnt the hard way and been told that laptops are not ideal for games as they contain a fairly basic graphics card, which normally cannot be upgraded. So they might be able to run older games, but probably not anything recent.

Would suggest that if its just for games, go for an XBox 360 or wait for the new Playstation.
