From 2006, we've been giving awards to the best products that pass through our hands, products that we think combine ingenuity, build quality, good design and value for money. The product reviews carrying this logo on IT Reviews are the ones that have so far been awarded this prestigious accolade.
Please remember that these are awards for products we have reviewed. There's no guarantee that a different product from the same manufacturer will be as good. Companies may use our 'Recommended' logo to promote their product, but only the product that we have recommended, not others.
Important: If you see the IT Reviews Recommended logo or a quote from one of our reviews on a supplier's site, always check our site first to make sure that we have actually reviewed the product and given it a Recommended award. If you can't find the product on our site, or if it's here but doesn't have a Recommended award, then the supplier is dodgy: in which case, spend your money elsewhere.
Terms of logo use for manufacturers, PRs, Web-masters, etc.:
1) The logo, if used as a link, must link back to the review page on IT Reviews, e.g. http://www.itreviews.co.uk/hardware/h871.htm
2) The logo can only be used alongside the product to which it refers. It's not a general recommendation of a company but a specific recommendation of a product, and must be treated as such.
3) You may use either the small logo on the review page, or the larger logo on this page. You'll have to store the logo file on your own Web server, due to bandwidth constraints.
4) The logo remains copyright of Unusual Publishing Ltd and is used under licence.
The award and the licence for its use may be withdrawn without notice if one or more of these terms is violated.
