Sharkoon is a name that's been unleashing a few products into the UK market over the last couple of years, and its latest is the SATA QuickPort PRO. This is an external device that's a docking station for an assortment of storage media.
Firstly, the unit has a pair of USB ports mounted onto the front, which it then supplements with an SD/MMC/MS/SDHC memory card reader as well. But the key attraction is probably the eSATA connection, that allows 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives to be hooked up to the device too. What's more, a USB and eSATA cable will be included as standard in the box.
The unit is already heading for sale, so should be available now. And it costs the princely sum of £37 Euros, which in the current climate means you're likely to end up paying £30.
