The plethora of devices that support Bluetooth connectivity has, inevitably, led to a plethora of adapters that offer Bluetooth support. And Sitecom has now unleashed another, this one with size on its side.

The key selling point of the Bluetooth 2.0 USB Micro Adapter is that it's so small, it can stay in a USB port permanently. The version with a 10m range is the size of a five pence piece, and protrudes a mere 7mm out of the back of a USB port. A 100m range version is also available, but that one sticks out 11mm. Both adapters offer a guaranteed data transfer speed of up to 3Mbps.

Pricing has yet to be confirmed, although the adapters are expected to go on sale shortly. Given the value-conscious nature of Sitecom's range, we don't expect either to break the bank, though.
