Both these products are very capable and have their individual strengths. For a start, HotFax is less than half the price of TalkWorks, yet offers 90 percent of its rival's key features, plus a few of its own. It should be noted that neither package is suitable for the absolute PC novice, especially if you want to extract the most from each package's capabilities.

If money were no object, we'd choose TalkWorks - it's more slick, can be integrated with Outlook more completely and it's more flexible. However, if you are on a budget, HotFax is really perfectly acceptable and we are happy to recommend it. HotFax will also attract power users who value the hosting and scripting capabilities offered, while TalkWork's easy to use wizards will be more suitable for those who are less confident.
